BERKELEY, Calif. – The San Francisco track and field team turned in solid performances in sprints and javelin in their first time outdoors this season at the Cal Outdoor Opener at Edwards Stadium.
Two standout performers for the Dons were a pair of redshirt juniors, Katoa Ahau and Asaundra Dalton.
Ahau, a javelin thrower from Kaimuki, Hawaii, finished with the second-best distance of the day, less than a meter behind the event
winner, Terrence Wilson of Cal. Ahau's hurl of 54.52 m came on his second attempt of the day, and is just over a foot off his collegiate best.
