SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- Returning home following their first road game of the season, the USF Dons baseball team (3-2) were in fine form Friday afternoon as they took game one of a four game set against the Utah Valley Wolverines (1-4) 7-1 at Benedetti Diamond.
USF received a tremendous start from who went six innings and gave up just one run while allowing only three hits, one walk and striking out one Wolverine batter. The Dons' offense was led by designated hitter who launched his second home run of the season to go along with a double in a 2-for-4 day at the plate with two RBI as well.
