SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco baseball team (14-10) dropped a hard-fought battle to Minnesota (10-10), falling 12-16 in the series finale Sunday afternoon at Benedetti Diamond.

- San Francisco fell behind early as Minnesota grabbed a 1-0 lead in the top of the second inning, plating the opening run on a Jake Larsen RBI groundout.
- The Dons responded later in the frame, scoring three runs to gain a 3-1 advantage. Back-to-back singles and a walk from Michael Campagna, Matty Fung, and Mattie Thomas highlighted the start of the inning as the Dons loaded the bases with one out.
