During the annual University of San Francisco's day of giving, also known as Day of the Dons, USF Athletics garnered tremendous support from the campus community and beyond that surpassed its goal with its highest donor count ever. The Athletic Department's contribution was the best in the event's fifth-year history. A total of $772,646 for USF as a whole was raised in just 24 hours through the generous contributions of 2,550 donors. The huge turnout of supporters unlocked a $300,000 challenge gift from the USF Board of Trustees.
