SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- Competing together for the first time in 2023 as a complete team, the USF Dons outdoor track and field team excelled as they competed at the WCCAA Meet on Saturday afternoon. The Dons women had a tremendous afternoon as they won the women's section of the meet as they accumulated 82 points to finish in first place, while the USF men came in fourth place with 27 points.
Leading the way for the Dons on Saturday was first place finishes from Sophia Priester-Veasley, Tatumn LaChapelle and Baneet Bains while USF's 4x800 meter relay team also took home the victory down at San Francisco State.
