SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — The University of San Francisco's men's tennis team collected its second-straight win on Sunday afternoon, taking down Army 4-1 at the California Club.
The Dons topped the Black Nights from West Point after posting four singles victories and a strong doubles battle at No. 2 with Phuc Huynh and Shotaro Iida.
Although San Francisco fell in the No. 1 and 3 positions in doubles competition, Huynh and Shotaro was able capture a solid victory over Black Nights' David Mitchell and David Gorshein, 6-4.
With Army holding the advantage from the start, San Francisco bounced back when Oz Daniel, Nitzan Ricklis, Romeo Midtgaard Jivraj and Paul Giraud tallied consecutive wins to seal the 4-1 victory.
