MSOC | Two First Half Goals Blanks Gonzaga In 2-0 Victory

SAN FRANCISCO — After an active first half and a competitive offensive momentum, the University of San Francisco's men's soccer team earned their second consecutive West Coast Conference victory by a score of 2-0 over the Gonzaga Bulldogs Sunday afternoon at Negoesco Stadium.

It was a slow start for the Dons and the Bulldogs when not a single shot was recorded up until the 17th minute mark, when Ashish Chattha attempted the first shot on goal. At the 32nd mark, it was the return of Sean Bowman who took the ball up from midfield on his own and launched it from 23-yards out to score right past the Bulldogs goalkeeper for the 1-0 lead.
