SAN FRANCISCO — Santiago DiGiuessepe and Sean Bowman shined on Senior Night in their final match at Negoesco Stadium by a strong second half performance, dominating Santa Clara, 3-1.
San Francisco's seniors shined from open to close throughout the second half as three dominating goals came from USF's DiGiuseppe and Bowman. Santa Clara, however, attacked both sides of the ball and put constant pressure on the Dons as they were able to get a shot off right at the fourth minute mark to start the match. Santa Clara's Alan Soto shot the ball from deep as it hit the top of the post and bounced off right to Javier Ruiz Duran foot for the wide open goal.
