BERKELEY, Calif. — The University of San Francisco men's soccer team fell in a hard-fought battle to California, 2-0 on Saturday afternoon at Edwards Stadium.
"Regardless of the result the group has shown improvements. We have to continue to keep developing in areas we need to improve and build on our strengths," said head coach Leonard Griffin.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the first half, Californias' (4-2-1) Alonzo Del Mundo put the Bears on the board first at the 19th minute. The Dons struggled offensively when the Bears led 9-0 in shots taken in the first period.
