LOS ANGELES — San Francisco (2-0-1) had more than just a victory tonight against nationally ranked UCLA (2-1-0), as the Dons broke the Bruins four-game winning streak which was the first ever victory the Dons have posted over UCLA in regular season play.
At the 51st minute, Sean Bowman, assisted by Jorge Ruiz struck first to take down No. 8 UCLA, Sunday night, in a competitive draw at Wallis Annenberg Stadium.
Heading into the second half, Ruiz tapped the ball to Bowman from inside the box where he buried it in the net for his second goal of the season.
