CRESWELL, Ore. – After a slow start to the Duck Invitational, a strong second round has the University of San Francisco men's golf team in contention sitting in a tie at seventh place. The Dons finished the opening 36-holes with a 17-over 593 (300-293) at the par-72 Emerald Valley Golf Club.
USF opened the tournament with a 12-over 300 in the opening round, USF had just one player in the top-20 after the first 18 holes. In the afternoon round, USF caught fire. The Dons carded 15 birdies and one eagle as a team while climbing four spots on the leaderboard.
