SAN FRANCISCO – The 2017 University of San Francisco men's soccer team took to the pitch on Friday for its first practice of the season before the team's 2017 season opener against UCLA on August 26 at Negoesco Stadium.
"I couldn't be happier. We're finally here training, doing what we want to do," said head coach .
The day started with a 7 a.m. conditioning test at foggy Kezar Stadium, followed by two separate practices under overcast skies at Negoesco Stadium.
The Dons will practice five more days, including four two-a-day sessions, until its exhibition match against Stanislaus State on August 18.
