SAN FRANCISCO – Tremendous guard play and stellar defensive efforts in crucial situations was the difference as the University of San Francisco men's basketball team outlasted the visiting Yale Bulldogs in overtime, winning 84-79 on Monday night. The Dons (3-0) had three players in double figures and were led by guards Jamaree Bouyea and Khalil Shabazz who both recorded double-doubles on the night.

• With 3.2 seconds left in regulation, Yale's (2-1) Matthue Cotton hit a corner three in front of the Bulldogs bench to tie the game at 72-72.
