SAN FRANCISCO – The University of San Francisco men's basketball team got back to .500 in the WCC thanks to a spectacular second half in the Dons 72-63 win over visiting Loyola Marymount on Saturday. The win capped off the Dons first 2-0 week in WCC play for USF this season.
USF (16-13, 8-8 WCC) scored 43 points after the intermission, their second largest point total in the second half this season. Leading the Dons, was junior guard Frankie Ferrari, who finished with a team-high 17 points, while dishing out six assists. Ferrari was the catalyst for the Dons, going 6-for-9 from the floor.
