SAN BRUNO, Calif. — For the first time in his career, University of San Francisco redshirt junior Charles Minlend was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week following a tremendous week in which the Dons went 2-0, beating two teams that were previously undefeated in conference play. With the wins, the Dons improved to 13-6 and are now 2-2 in WCC play.
For the week, Minlend averaged 22.0 points per game while shooting 52.2% from the field. From beyond the arc, Minlend was 5 for 8. He also had 11 rebounds, averaging 5.
