Malik Thomas Named WCC Player of the Week for Third Time

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Guiding San Francisco to a 2-0 start to West Coast Conference (WCC) play, Malik Thomas has been named WCC Player of the Week for the third time this season, the league announced on Tuesday.

Continuing to make a case for WCC Player of the Year, the do-it-all guard finished the week with averages of 26.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game.

Beginning on Saturday, Dec. 28, the Fontana native tallied 19 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal in San Francisco's 70-55 win over LMU.
