MORAGA, Calif. – Despite a solid pitching performance, the University of San Francisco baseball team (17-22, 1-10 WCC) dropped a narrow 4-0 decision to Saint Mary's (23-13, 8-3 WCC) Saturday afternoon at Louis Guisto Field.

- Saint Mary's opened the scoring in the first inning when Dalton Mashore scored from third base on a wild pitch, putting the Gaels up 1-0.
- The Gaels added another run in the third and then followed with runs in back-to-back innings in the sixth and seventh frames to extend their advantage to 4-0.
