SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- USF redshirt junior guard Ioanna Krimili was one of 25 players to be named to the 2023 Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Award Preseason Watch List, presented by Her Hoop Stats. This will be the third season that the Becky Hammon Award will be awarded as Florida Gulf Coast's Kierstan Bell is the two-time reigning recipient, while South Dakota's Ciara Duffy won the inaugural award during the 2019-20 season.
This season's preseason watch list features representatives from 25 schools and 13 different conferences. The Atlantic 10 and MAC led all conferences with four watch list members, tying the previous record for most representatives on the preseason watch list.
