SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Entering their second year of a new partnership, the University of San Francisco men's golf program is set to co-host the Howard/USF Intercollegiate on Monday, Sept. 18 and Tuesday, Sept. 19 at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco.
Last year, San Francisco partnered with Howard University to begin a tournament that is focused on equity and inclusion within the sport of golf. Collegiately, this tournament gives unheralded programs the opportunity to compete at prestigious venues such as TPC Harding Park and TPC Potomac, last year's course.
"We have partnered with unbelievable sponsors in AWS and PNC Bank that are providing the college experience on two championship golf courses for no cost to any of the student-athletes, which is unheard of in this day of college golf," said San Francisco head coach Jack Kennedy.
