The cross country team was busy setting new team records at the Stanford Invitational last week. The team was partaking in the SF State Distance Carnival and a few people set new personal records (PR).

At Stanford, sophomore Hugh Nicklason came in fourth in the second heat of the men’s 1500m with a time of 3:43.70, breaking his own school record. In the second heat of the women’s 5000m, sophomore Weronika Pyzik finished third and set a new USF record of 15:59.00. In the first heat of the men’s 10000m, senior Alex Short set a school record of 28:46.
