SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- It was a great afternoon on the Hilltop at Benedetti Diamond as the USF Dons baseball team (1-1) picked up their first victory of the 2022 season and evened their series with the No. 17 UCSB Gauchos (1-1) in a 6-3 victory on Saturday afternoon. It was a great day for new Dons as on the mound and in the batter's box USF received strong contributions from new additions to the roster.
Lefty threw 4 1/3 no-hit innings as he struck out three and allowed just one earned run in the victory on Saturday.
