SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – After leading the University of San Francisco women's basketball team to two league wins last week, Jasmine Gayles has been named Credit Union 1 West Coast Conference Player of the Week for the second time, announced by the conference Monday morning.
Highlighted by a career-high 40 points in a double-digit win at Pacific on Saturday, Jan. 13, Gayles averaged 29.0 points per game while shooting at a 46.9 percent (15-for-32) clip during the second week of league play. Gayles also posted 18 points at home in a win over Pepperdine on Thursday, Jan.
