LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Salvaging the series with a thrilling comeback win, the University of San Francisco baseball team (21-22, 9-9 WCC) plated five runs in the ninth inning to steal the series finale over Loyola Marymount (15-24-1, 11-7 WCC), 13-12, at Page Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

- Grabbing an early 2-0 lead, LMU got on the board first with two runs on two hits and one USF error in the bottom of the first inning.
- Trimming the gap shortly thereafter, Nick Yovetich lined a single through the right side of the infield to drive home Zach Freeman and cut USF's deficit to 2-1 in the top of the second.
