SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Head coach Diogo Silva and the University of San Francisco beach volleyball program announced today that Emily Cook, an assistant coach for the program, has been elevated into the role of Associate Head Coach.
"Emily has all the qualities that a head coach looks for," said Silva. "She is loyal, intelligent, works hard, has good character and commitment and is a tremendous leader. The beach volleyball program here at USF is improving because of her dedication, love for the athletes, the university and everyone that works with her. She is beyond deserving of this promotion and we are lucky to have her on board.
