EUGENE, Ore. -- Beginning their final stretch of eight straight games away from San Francisco, the USF Dons baseball team (13-14, 4-8) dropped a close 5-3 battle with the hometown Oregon Ducks (21-9, 7-5) on Tuesday night from PK Park.
The Dons received a strong start from as he made his return to the team's rotation against Oregon, while drove in a pair of runs as he hit in the two-hole in the batting order for the first time during the 2023 season.

- Each team's starter got off to nice starts on the mound as the game was scoreless through the first two innings before the hometown Ducks were able to break through with three runs in the third inning on a two-run single and an error that gave UO the 3-0 advantage heading into the fourth inning.
