SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Remaining perfect at home, the University of San Francisco men's soccer team (3-0-1) used a goal in the 45th minute and strong team defense to pitch their second shutout of the year and defeat Cal State Fullerton (3-1-0), 1-0, on Monday evening at Negoesco Stadium.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
- Firing on offense right out of the gates, Max Hamelink recorded the first two matches of the contest at 3:55 and 5:26, but was unable to get the Dons on the board early.
- Continuing to apply pressure as the action continued, USF dominated on the offensive end in the first half as they outshout Fullerton 11-2, but it was not until the final minute of the half that the green and gold would strike.
