SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco volleyball team (5-6) earned its second-straight win, defeating UT Rio Grande Valley, 3-0, Friday evening at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center.

- The Dons jumped out to an early lead over the Vaqueros (6-6) and eased through the first set. With the frame tied at seven, the Dons used a 5-1 scoring run to push the lead four, 12-8, the largest of the frame to that point.
- Adding to the lead later in the set, a Kennedy Muckelroy kill and three Vaquero attack errors gave the Dons set point, 24-17.
