SAN FRANCISCO – The University of San Francisco Athletics Department will be hosting a three-part event this Saturday, Oct. 14, that will be celebrating both the 45th anniversary of Title IX and USF's first female national champion, track and field athlete Charlotte Taylor.
Each event – the reception, main event, and game* are open to the public and free of charge.
The Title IX Reception will begin at 1 p.m. at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center. Attendees of the event will enjoy free appetizers and free wine. The three selections of wine include varietals from Kistler, Three Sticks and Gary Farrell – all vineyards local to Northern California.
