SAN FRANCISCO – The University of San Francisco men's basketball team didn't make its first 3-point field goal until there was 8:01 left in the game. The Dons started the contest 0-for-13 from beyond the arc before Frankie Ferrari connected on a three in front of the Dons bench. That was how the game went for USF, as both sides struggled to find the shooters touch with both defenses swarming all over the ball. Ultimately, after a tense final five minutes the Dons came away with the 61-57 win on Wednesday night.
After leading for the entire contest, USF (5-0) found itself behind 50-49 with 5:06 to go when Harvard's (2-3) Spencer Freedman hit a pair of free-throws.
