BRYAN, Texas – The University of San Francisco men's golf knew they had an uphill battle to advance to the NCAA Finals when they began their final round on Wednesday morning. That didn't stop the Dons from going out and carding their best round of the tournament, shooting an 11-over 299 to give USF a three-day total of 903.
Sophomore Tim Widing capped off the strong day three showing with an even par 72 for his final round. The native of Jonkoping, Sweden climbed 14 spots on the final day, to finish tied for 35th with a 6-over 222 (75-75-72).
