SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Recording season-high 18 hits, the University of San Francisco baseball team (8-5) earned a dominating 15-6 victory over Saint Peter's (4-8) in the opening game of the series Friday afternoon at Benedetti Diamond.

- Highlighted by a Kody Watanabe RBI double to left-center field, San Francisco took control in the opening frame, scoring three runs for an early 3-0 lead.
- Watanabe was responsible for the Dons' fourth run of the game in the following frame, picking up an RBI single to plate Matty Fung, extending the lead to 4-0.
