SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Competing in their backyard to begin the new year, the University of San Francisco men's golf team picked up where they left off last spring as the Dons finished second overall as a team at the USF/Howard Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday at TPC Harding Park.
TOURNAMENT RESULTS:
- Playing 36 holes on Monday, San Francisco got off to a strong start on a familiar course as Jakob Melin finished his first two rounds (69, 67) in third place at 8-under. Just two strokes behind, Ben Partridge also was in the top five after day one as he sat at 6-underheading into Tuesday.
