Spokane, Wash. –– The USF men's tennis suffered a tough loss on Saturday, falling to Gonzaga 4-1 in Spokane, Wash. was the lone bright spot for the Dons, winning both his singles and doubles matches against the Bulldogs.
Brockstedt and earned a quick, 6-2 win over Emilio Moreno and Ruadhan O'Sullivan on the No. 2 doubles court to start things off for USF. However, Gonzaga's Hayden Smith and Jordan Smith beat seniors and , 6-4, to draw even. With the doubles point on the line, and battled hard on the No. 3 court, but lost in a nailbiter to Vicente Varas and Ronzai Saurombe by a score of 7-6(7-4)
The Bulldogs kept things going on the singles side, with Jordan Smith taking down Skajaa 6-4, 6-2 in straight sets.
