SAN FRANCISCO – Having transitioned from a decorated student-athlete at USF to a professional runner just before the COVID-19 pandemic hit, former USF Don Sadi Henderson has had quite a ride over the past year.
In this episode of Dons from Distance, Henderson joins USF Athletics Director of Creative Video, Katie Morgan, and covers, initially, what brought her from Boise State to USF for her final year of eligibility.
Henderson reveals some of the adversity she faced in her time on the Hilltop, how she overcame it, and goes on to discuss the process of both signing a professional contract as a runner and living life as a pro.
