SAN FRANCISCO – Two women from opposite sides of the country; two very similar experiences growing up. In this edition of Dons From Distance, women's basketball graduate student Dolapo Balogun and freshman track and field sprinter Rayne Anwar discuss their feelings on George Floyd, white privilege, and the Black Lives Matter movement.
USF Director of Creative Video, Katie Morgan, begins the episode with a brief introduction of these two phenomenal athletes, and then Balogun and Anwar take the stage to share their experiences growing up as black women in the United States.
