TEMPE, Ariz. – Shining in the desert once again, the University of San Francisco triathlon team finished on the podium for the second time in three years as the Dons placed third overall as a team at the USA Triathlon Collegiate National Championship on Saturday afternoon.
RACE HIGHLIGHTS:
- 2021 Individual national champion Kira Gupta Baltazar finished in the top 10 individually for the third straight year as she placed sixth overall in this year's national championship.
- Competing in the event for the first time, Maite Kuestner impressed by finishing eighth overall, which included recording the fastest time by a Don and third-fastest overall on the bike.
