LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Playing in their first road contest of the regular season, the University of San Francisco men's soccer team (1-1-0) fell late to UCLA (1-1-0), 2-1, after an overtime goal from the Bruins at Wallis Anneberg Stadium.

- Aiming to defend their home turf from the start, UCLA came out firing and recorded their first shot of the match at 2:40. Answering the call, freshman goalkeeper Charlie McKay denied the early attack from the Bruins to keep the game scoreless.
- Moving through the first half, the Dons would not register their first shot of the match until an attempt from junior Dominic Valdivia at the 18:57 mark.
