Dons Drop Series Opener to Lions

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco baseball team (14-20, 4-6 WCC) dropped a 17-4 decision to LMU (17-17, WCC 5-5) in the series opener Friday afternoon at Benedetti Diamond.

  • LMU struck first following a scoreless first inning, with Zion Williams scoring on a wild pitch in the top of the second.
  • San Francisco quickly responded as Zack Ramppen grounded out to bring Eddison Esquivel home, and Trevor Harmon scored shortly after on a wild pitch to give the Dons a 2-1 lead.
