SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Traveling to Northern California for the first time this season, the University of San Francisco baseball team (15-14) dropped a 7-1 non-conference decision to Sacramento State Monday evening at John Smith Field.

- Sacramento State opened the contest with a run when Elie Klingman earned a bases-loaded walk, scoring Tyler White, for a 1-0 lead.
- San Francisco evened the game at one run apiece in the third inning on a Matty Fung RBI groundout. Logan Azem and AJ Guiliana kickstarted the frame with base hits to put runners on the corners with one out.
