SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Returning home for the first of five consecutive home games, the USF Dons baseball team (9-8, 0-3) came up shy by a 5-3 final score on their home diamond to the Nevada Wolf Pack (11-10, 2-4) on Wednesday afternoon.
Leading the way for the Dons was strong middle of the order production from and who combined to go 3-for-5 at the plate with three walks and a hit by pitch against Nevada. Making his third start of the season, tossed three innings for USF striking out one batter on Wednesday.
