SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco baseball team (5-4) dropped a narrow 6-2 non-conference decision to Washington (3-6) Wednesday afternoon at Benedetti Diamond.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
- With the game scoreless through the first two innings of play, Washington jumped ahead in the top of the third and took a 1-0 lead. Sam DeCarlo worked a leadoff walk and later scored, aided by an error by pitcher Dylan Brown on a failed pick-off attempt.
- San Francisco threatened in the bottom half of the third, putting two runners in scoring position following singles by Matty Fung and Jordan Lewis.
