SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Bouncing back in game two, the University of San Francisco baseball team (1-1) used strong performances on the mound to take down Utah (1-1), 3-1, and even the series on Saturday afternoon at Benedetti Diamond.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
- Toeing the rubber for the first time this season, Adam Shew started the ballgame off on the right foot by striking out three of Utah's first four batters in the opening frame.
- One inning later, Will Asby singled into center field and advanced to second on a wild pitch before Michael Campagna lined a base hit into left center to plate USF's first run of the afternoon.
