BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Leading from the start, the University of San Francisco women's golf team was crowned champions of the Valley Invitational as the Dons finished first overall as a team to notch their first tournament victory under head coach Sara Doell and their first tournament win since the Sacramento State Invitational in March of 2016.
TOURNAMENT RESULTS:
- Beginning their spring season, USF led after day one with a two-round total of 591 as a team, which was then followed by a 304 on Tuesday as the Dons captured the tournament title with a three-round total of 31-over-895.
