BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The University of San Francisco men's soccer team came back from two goals down but its comeback bid fell short, losing 3-2 to Butler in the 2017 adidas/IU Credit Union Classic on Sunday afternoon.
Down 2-0, the Dons made a furious comeback in the latter stage of the match.
In the 81st minute, midfielder Leon Schwarzer chipped in a cross from eight yards out on a Aaron Lombardi cross. It was Schwarzer's team leading third goal of the season to cut the Bulldogs lead to 2-1.
