BRYAN, Texas – After a five-year hiatus, the University of San Francisco men's golf team made its return to the postseason on Monday, playing in the opening round of the NCAA Bryan Regionals hosted by Texas A&M at the Traditions Course.
USF finished the opening round with a 16-over 304 at the par-72 course. Leading the team was sophomore Tim Widing who finished the afternoon with a 3-over 75. Widing is currently tied for 43rd after 18 holes.
Senior Jalen Griffin and freshman Alex Chin are tied for 49th after shooting 4-over 76.
