Dick Stanfel, who won three NFL Championships as a player and coach after an outstanding playing career at USF, was elected posthumously to the Pro Football Hall of Fame today.
Stanfel, who was a Hall of Fame finalist in 1993 and 2012, was elected by the Senior Committee along with former Oakland Raider great Ken Stabler. They join fellow inductees Tony Dungy, Kevin Greene, Marvin Harrison, Orlando Pace and Eddie DeBartolo, Jr. in this year's Hall of Fame Class which will be enshrined in Canton on August 6.
