SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Bouncing back from a tough late innings loss yesterday, the USF Dons baseball team (15-23, 6-14) earned a 4-3 extra innings victory on Saturday afternoon over the Saint Mary's Gaels (18-20, 11-9) to even the weekend series at Benedetti Diamond.
Combining tremendous pitching performances from both Adam Shew and Ryan Yerby, the Dons offense was able to come up clutch late in extra innings as Mario DeMera delivered a walk-off RBI double down the left field line to help USF emerge victorious.
