SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco baseball team (3-2) dropped the first contest of the three-game series against Nevada (3-1), falling 5-1 Friday afternoon at Benedetti Diamond.

- After two scoreless frames, Nevada jumped ahead in the third inning on a towering two-run home run off the bat of Nolan Wilson, giving the Wolf Pack a 2-0 advantage.
- San Francisco cut the deficit in half the following half inning when Michael Campagna recorded his first home run of the season, a solo shot that snuck over the left-field wall to bring the Dons within 2-1.
