SAN FRANCISCO — Summer has arrived and so has another season of opportunity for University of San Francisco baseball players to gain experience, live all over the country, make new friends and play competitive baseball in summer leagues across the nation.
A total of 17 Dons will take part in collegiate summer leagues during the next three months. Two Dons are playing in the prestigious Cape Cod League this summer, where many of the country's best prospects play each year. Returning redshirt senior Robert Emery and returning junior Jack Winkler are both playing in the Cape, Emery with the Orleans Firebirds and Winkler with the Wareham Gatemen.
