SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Playing under the lights at Negoesco Stadium, the University of San Francisco men's soccer team (7-4-3, 0-3-1 WCC) battled Santa Clara (4-3-5, 1-1-2 WCC) till the final whistle, but were bested 3-1 by three goals in the first half despite their effort to put one away in the second half.
